Accurate to within 2' from a distance of 600' feet away, each unit can independently identify and record the actions as far as the camera can see.

Through our partnership with Safety Dynamics, the NetLogix viGDS brings public safety agencies the ability to remotely view the transmission point of a gunshot. While no alternative solution has the ability to integrate with point-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras, it takes less than one second for the NetLogix viGDS to identify a gunshot event, pinpoint its location, and have the video camera targeting the shooter. To acquire as many scene details as possible, the camera initially zooms onto the target and then fades out to widely cover the surrounding area.

No Mesh Network Required

Unlike alternative solutions, the NetLogix viGDS does not require a mesh network for operation and does not need to be installed on a "grid". This reduces the number of necessary detection units by 2/3 over the target coverage area, dramatically cutting the upfront expense of equipment and implementation costs.

Additionally, the competition's units contain a single microphone for detection, compared to the four on the NetLogix viGDS. While their systems require at least 3 times as many units to accurately locate an event, our stand-alone units are functionally independent, allowing for fixed, portable, or mobile deployment.
